The advantage to learning what other people like to use for their interaction style is that you can meet them where they are and make them feel more comfortable.
Very often, people are not aware that these different interaction styles exist, and they assume that everyone prefers to communicate that same they they do. Or, they assume that everyone else values the same kind of information when making decisions.
It’s just good to know what other people find important. It puts you in the position to be able to interact with them in a way that will not put them off, and they will find valuable.
in a business setting, you can gain a client’s trust.
In a relationship, you can make a partner feel more comfortable.
Either way, using this information to meet others where they are is going to make you look good. It’s going to make your interactions with others more productive and far more enjoyable.
Remember- You want to spend most of your time in the interaction style that’s natural to you. You only want to spend some time “Flexing” into the other interaction styles to be able to better communicate with other styles when needed.
In my business, Carol’s classes and book have been a valuable asset to me.
• I suggest listening to this one more than once, and make sure you you download her pdf reference sheet.
being able to recognize and Flex into the other interaction styles will create opportunities for you in your business and your life.
